Bodyboards
Bodyboards on this site are warranted against defects in workmanship and or materials for a period of time specified by the board manufacturer (this could be between 30-90 days). Please retain your sales receipt as proof of purchase. The warranty extends to the original purchaser only. Please note the following specific exclusions which are not defects in the workmanship or materials:
· Exposure to, or damaged caused by, heat
· Creasing of the deck or slick skins
· Damage caused by improper storage
· Water absorption
· Accidental or forceful damage to the board
· Flexed or broken boards
· Damage caused by leash or other accessory
· Dents/Depressions from rider or other objects
· Logo coming off
· Boards with repairs made by anyone other than the board manufacturer.
Fins
Swimfins on this site are warranted against defects in workmanship and or materials for a period of time specified by the fin manufacturer (this could be between 30-60 days). Please retain your sales receipt as proof of purchase. The warranty extends to the original purchaser only. Please note the following exclusions which are not defects in the workmanship or materials:
· Brittle fins caused by excessive exposure to sun
· Small cracks in the blade or foot strap
· Fins with modifications made by anyone other than the fin manufacturer
WARRANTY INSTRUCTIONS
If believe your board or fins are defective, email a picture of the product to The Foam Company along with a detailed description of the problem, your name, and your order number. If your board or fins fall under warranty you will be given an RA# (return authorization number) and instructed to send the product either back to The Foam Company or to the manufacturer. The seller and the manufacturer reserve the right to inspect all warranty claims. You are responsible for all transportation charges. Please insure your package, The Foam Company or the product manufacturer is not liable items that are lost or damaged in transit.
Upon receipt of the defective merchandise The Foam Company or the board manufacturer will send you a replacement. Your replacement will not be sent any later than 5 days after receipt of defective board. Money back will be issued only if defective merchandise is returned within 30 days of purchase.
